This Flat Ended Sound kit contains probes that are 7.5" long; the insertable portion on each probe is about 6". They are only usable on one end since one side is rounded and the other is flat. The most common use for the flat end would be to hook up an electrode or other electrical components.

This set of 14 probes is made of chrome-plated brass. Each probe in the series is slightly larger than the one before and range from approximately 2/16" in diameter to just over 5/8" the same as 4 French to 17 French .
